All firearms will be transferred through Lost Creek Trading Post, located in Marshall, Illinois. All federal and state laws will be followed, which includes waiting periods. FIREARM PURCHASERS

Illinois law states 24 hr waiting period for pistols from the time the gun dealer representing guns at auction (Lost Creek Trading Post) calls the Illinois State Police.  Illinois law states 48 hour waiting period for long guns from the time the gun dealer representing guns at auction calls the Illinois State Police. 

You, the buyer, must pay all shipping and handling costs to Lost Creek Trading Post.  The transfer fee is $17 payable to Lost Creek Trading Post.  You will also have to pay a transfer fee to your dealer if you are not a dealer.  Out of state online buyers of firearms who are dealers must fax their FFL license to Lost Creek Trading Post (217) 826-5934 to complete this purchase.  If you are not a dealer, then you must fax the FFL license of a dealer in your area to Lost Creek Trading Post. 

Curio & Relics License accepted on qualified firearms.   All Federal and Illinois State laws will apply to firearm purchases.  If you are an Illinois resident you must complete a 4473 Form.  NO EXCEPTIONS.  Illinois residents must contact Lost Creek Trading Post for all Illinois State requirements.  You need to have a FOID card.

The fee for transfer is $17 total, $15.00 for gun (paperwork) and $2.00 for phone call to State Police (background check). Transfer fee for each gun won is payable to Lost Creek Trading Post.

For firearms that will be picked up at Lost Creek Trading Post, the following regulations will apply;

1. Illinois resident must have a valid Firearms Owners Identification Card.

2. Mandatory 24 hour waiting period on all long guns and be 18 years of age.

3. Mandatory 72 hour waiting period on all handguns and must be 21 years of age.

4. The person who fills out the federal 4473 form is the only person who may pick the firearm up.

5. All federal 4473 paperwork will be filled out at the auction, so please stay around once the guns are all sold.

For firearms that will be shipped

1. Lost Creek Trading Post will ship any and all firearms for a winning bidder. However, they will need the proper federal paperwork before they ship out.

2. Any and all guns have to be shipped to a federally licensed firearm dealer (FFL), no exceptions!

3. Shipping and handling is $30.00 "per" gun plus a $17.00 transfer fee “per” gun. The guns will be securely shipped and insured for the amount paid at auction.  The shipping fees can be mailed right along with the FFL paperwork that Lost Creek Trading Post will need. Once the shipping fees and FFL paperwork is received, Lost Creek Trading Post will ship firearm(s) out the next business day using either the postal service or FedEx.

All property is sold “AS IS”, and ALL SALES ARE FINAL. Property is open to thorough public inspection. It is the Bidder’s responsibility to determine condition, age, genuineness, value or any other determinative factor. Hall’s Auction Company may attempt to describe the merchandise in advertising, on the internet and at the auction but makes no representations. In no event shall Hall’s Auction Company be held responsible for having made or implied any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Bidder shall be the sole judge of value.

Hall’s Auction Company is providing internet pre-auction and live bidding as a service to Bidder. Bidder acknowledges and understands that this service may or may not function correctly the day of the auction. Under no circumstances shall Bidder have any kind of claim against Hall’s Auction Company or anyone else if the internet service fails to work correctly before or during the live auction. Hall’s Auction Company will not be responsible for any missed bids from any source. Internet bidders who desire to make certain their bid is acknowledged should use the proxy-bidding feature and leave their maximum bid 24 hours before the auction begins. Hall’s Auction Company reserves the right to withdraw or re-catalog items in this auction.

All purchases other than guns will be shipped via USPS and insured. Please contact Hall’s Auction Company if you wish to have your merchandise shipped by another method.

Chargebacks on credit cards are not accepted for any reason and will result in a breach of contract of the terms and conditions agreed upon at registration.
